Finally fixed that drippy outdoor spigot after a month of ignoring it
The hose bib off the back porch was dripping since early March, probably wasting a gallon a day. Replaced the washer yesterday for $1.79 from Ace and it's bone dry now, has anyone else dealt with that stupid little screw cap seizing up on the old style valves?
Took me three years and a flooded basement to learn that little screw cap needs a wrench and some actual muscle. You're already ahead of me by just getting it done.
