Heads up about that roof leak repair place off of Coors by the strip mall
I stopped by to grab a quote last Wednesday and the guy straight up told me they just slap flex seal on everything and hope it holds through one monsoon season, so has anyone else dealt with that spot near the old bowling alley?

Oh man, that's just asking for a leaky kitchen ceiling later (or way sooner).

Oh good, so @wrenh65 is probably right about that kitchen ceiling. I had a guy try that same trick on my rental property last year. Told me "it'll buy you a season or two." Three months later I was cutting out drywall. Those flex seal jobs ALWAYS fail at the seam or where debris gets under it. If you're gonna fix a roof leak, spend the extra cash on actual roofing cement and a patch of matching material. Anything less is just throwing money away on a temporary fix that costs MORE in the long run.
