Hit 200 psi on my pressure washer and instantly regretted it

Was cleaning my driveway last weekend and cranked it up to 200 psi to test a new nozzle. Gouged a line right into the concrete that I still can't smooth out. Anybody else learn the hard way that more pressure isn't always better?

Tore a chunk out of my sidewalk last month at 180 psi. Still mad about it.

Pretty sure pressure washers are rated at the pump, not at the nozzle tip. You're probably losing 20-30 psi by the time it hits the ground. Still enough to damage concrete though, that's for sure.
