My cousin's attempt at grout cleaning turned into a colorful disaster
Last month, my cousin decided to help me with the grout in my bathroom tile. He watched some video that said to use bleach and baking soda for a deep clean. But he got mixed up and poured in vinegar too, which makes a nasty gas. We all started coughing and had to run outside with the windows open. My dog even looked confused as we stood on the lawn. Now the grout lines are patchy white, and the room has a permanent chlorine smell. I guess next time I will just do it myself, even if it takes longer. Family help is nice, but sometimes it costs you more in the end.

Patchy white grout? A toothbrush and hydrogen peroxide worked for me!

I always used store-bought grout cleaner. But the toothbrush and hydrogen peroxide thing you mentioned worked way better, lol.

My bathroom grout was a lost cause for years. I was ready to redo the whole floor until I tried that trick.
