My roofer spent the whole appointment tracking hot air balloons.
I mean, he completely ignored the cracked shingles right above my head.

Heard about a contractor who got sued for missing obvious damage because he was distracted by a parade... your situation with the balloons sounds just like that. It's crazy how some pros lose focus on the job... those cracked shingles won't fix themselves. I read that even small oversight can cost thousands later... water gets in and ruins everything. You really need to get a second opinion from a more focused roofer... this one wasted your time. Paying for a service means expecting full attention... not a sky show.

Derek's totally right about how expensive a wandering eye can get. That water damage turns into mold real fast, and then you're paying for way more than just a roof. A pro's whole job is to spot the problems you can't see.
