Pro tip: swap your felt dryer vent brush for a $4 toilet brush attachment
I used to spend 25 minutes every spring wrestling that floppy felt brush through 14 feet of dryer duct, but after I saw a cleaner in Albuquerque recommend a drill-mounted toilet brush kit at a trade show, I switched last year and now it takes 7 minutes flat, has anyone else found a weird tool that beats the 'standard' one?

Wait, is that the trick where you just chuck the brush into a drill chuck? Because I did the same thing last month after my floppy rod snapped halfway through the duct and I had to fish it out with a coat hanger. Honestly, the toilet brush attachment is a total game changer, I got mine for like five bucks and it chews through the lint like nothing. Tbh, I also use it on the vent outside the house now and it clears that weird crusty buildup way faster than any leaf blower ever did. Ngl, I feel kinda dumb for fighting with that stupid felt brush for two years before I saw some cleaning van post about it online.

Man, that coat hanger rescue sounds like a nightmare, glad you made it out without losing your mind. Same boat here, I swore by the felt brush for years until I tried the toilet brush trick, total facepalm moment.
