I used to cry over my bank app at 2am, now I check it every Friday with coffee
Six months ago I was the person who avoided looking at my balance until a card got declined at a gas station in Amarillo. I would just swipe and pray and then panic when the number was lower than I thought. Then a buddy told me he looks at his accounts every Friday morning with his coffee, ten minutes, no drama, just a check in. I started doing it too and it turns out knowing the number early is way less scary than finding out at the register. Does anyone else have a set day they sit down with their money, or do you just check whenever the worry hits?

Checking at the register isn't knowing early though, that's knowing last.
