I overheard a coworker joking about how her boss expected her to come in during a blizzard last winter, and she got a warning when she stayed home. On the flip side, my neighbor who works remote just took a 'wellness half day' during a storm and nobody batted an eye. Does having a flexible job make the hard parts of adulting easier, or does it just blur the line between work and life even more?
