Signed up for a meal kit service as a joke, now I can't go back

I was so sure those boxes were overpriced for people who can't boil water, but after 3 months of HelloFresh my cooking anxiety is gone. Last week I actually made salmon with a lemon dill sauce from scratch and didn't burn anything. Anyone else get converted by something they thought was a scam?

Bet the subscription is cheaper than takeout for two.

Disagree with that math. A takeout meal for two runs maybe 25-30 bucks where I live and that gets you actual real food you can split. These subscription boxes are usually 50-60 bucks minimum for maybe three meals worth of ingredients you still have to cook yourself. Plus you gotta factor in the time and effort of following their recipes and doing all the prep work. Takeout is just simpler and actually cheaper per plate if you're counting right.
