I watched her juggle three cash drawers and a broken ice machine during a 6 PM rush last Thursday, and suddenly my 'I don't have time to meal plan' excuse felt pretty weak, so now I batch-cook on Sundays for exactly $47 a week, has anyone else had a random stranger's hustle flip their whole routine?

Double down on that Sunday roast and use the bones for broth, stretches your $45 even further.

Started off thinking people who meal prep were just weirdly organized, but watching that manager keep her cool while the soda machine spat foam everywhere made me realize I was just making excuses. Now I spend Sunday afternoons roasting a whole chicken and chopping veg for grab bags, and my grocery bill dropped to around $45 too. It's wild how seeing someone else grind through a mess can snap your own priorities into place.
