Frustrated with how our agency partnership dynamic shifted after Q1
I mean maybe it's just me but I swear things were way smoother between us and our partner agency back in January. We had a 10 AM check-in every Monday that actually led to real decisions. Now we're down to a shared Slack channel with maybe 3 messages a week. The main thing that changed was both sides got busy with new clients around March. Now follow ups take 4 days instead of a few hours and I'm stuck chasing down basic approvals. Has anyone else had a partnership fall apart this fast after a solid start?

Nah man I feel this hard. It's wild how fast a good rhythm can fall apart when everybody's plate gets full. That Monday check in sounds like gold, something that actually worked and then it just vanishes because everyone's buried. Four day follow ups are brutal, especially when you're the one stuck chasing. I've watched partnerships go from "we got this" to "who even is this person" in like six weeks because of this exact thing.

Hold on though, maybe the problem isn't the people but the expectations. If a partnership dies that fast, maybe it wasn't THAT strong to begin with, just a lot of early energy. Real solid stuff survives a few missed checkins and some chaos, it's the flimsy ones that crumble.

Monday check-ins hitting a wall usually means both sides kept the meetings but stopped preparing for them. A partnership that falls apart that fast probably had good habits but not much deeper trust built up yet.
