I had a client in Miami ask for a 'full rebrand' in 24 hours
This was for a partnership launch we'd been planning for months. He called me at 7 PM and said, 'Just make it pop, I trust you.' I spent the whole night on it, sent over the files, and he replied, 'Looks great, but my partner just wants to keep the old logo.' Has anyone else had a partner completely change the scope at the last second like that?

Ever wonder if they even told their partner they hired you in the first place? Sounds like he made a snap decision to look proactive, then got cold feet when he had to show someone else. That "trust you" line is just a way to avoid giving you any real direction before they change their mind.
