Serious question, why do agency partners ghost after a signed contract?

We closed a deal with a marketing agency in Austin last month, got the paperwork done, and then radio silence for 3 weeks. No kickoff call, no asset requests, nothing. Did I miss something or is this normal in partnerships?

Called their CEO on day 10. That got things moving fast.

My last call with their support was 45 minutes of being bounced between 3 departments before they hung up on me. Seriously, getting the CEO involved is the only way to bypass that nonsense. I had to do the same thing with a different company, and suddenly they had a dedicated rep calling me back within 2 hours. It's wild how fast things move when you skip the front lines.

Yeah I used to think going to the top was overkill but damn you guys are right it really works.
