Shoutout to the agency partner who ghosted us before a $300k pitch
Last month our main partner agency went silent 2 days before a big pitch to a hotel chain in Austin. We had to scramble and pitch solo, lost the deal by a hair. Anyone else had a partner bail last minute on a joint effort?

Wait, they just went completely silent two days before?

Oh man, I actually kinda disagree! That silence could mean they're deep in negotiations or scrambling to fix something behind the scenes (which is pretty common right before a big announcement). I've seen way too many teams go radio silent right before pulling off something cool, not because they bailed.

Wait, did you guys ever get a single response after the silent period started? Like a text, email, or even a carrier pigeon? I'm genuinely curious if they ever came back with an explanation or just stayed ghosted completely. Cause walking into a $300k pitch blind with no warning is brutal, but if they popped up later with some lame excuse like "we had tech issues" that would be even worse.
