Showerthought: Revenue share partnerships beat flat fee referrals every single time
I ran a flat $500 referral fee with three marketing agencies for about 8 months and got maybe 4 leads total. Switched to a 15% revenue share model with just one agency in Nashville and we closed $11k in new pest control contracts in the first quarter. The difference is night and day. When they have skin in the game, they actually vet leads and stick around to help close. Flat fees make people lazy because they get paid whether the client signs or not. Anybody else made this switch and seen the same thing?
