Used to cold email 40 agencies a week, now I just call 3 I actually met at a Columbus meetup
Six months ago I was blasting generic partnership pitches to 40 agencies a week and getting maybe one reply back from a guy in Toledo. Last Thursday I grabbed coffee with two owners I met at a Columbus agency mixer, and by Friday we had a handshake deal on a simple referral split. Curious if others here have dropped the spray and pray thing for just a few real conversations, or is cold outreach still working for you?
