Hot take: those expensive silicone air fryer liners are a scam
I spent $25 on a pack of 10 branded silicone liners and all they did was make my fries soggy and trap grease underneath. Anyone else find that just using parchment paper cut to size works way better for cleanup?

Agree with everything you both said. I bought a set of those silicone liners last year and they made my chicken wings come out absolutely disgusting, all steamed instead of crispy. @oscarb77 you nailed it with the burnt rubber taste, I actually had to throw a batch of fries away because the silicone smell ruined them. Parchment paper is honestly the BEST option for air fryers, it lets air circulate properly and makes cleanup a breeze. People fall for the fancy marketing but these liners just trap moisture and mess up the whole point of having an air fryer. Stick with the paper, forget the gimmicks.

Wait, so you're saying I paid $25 to turn my air fryer into a grease trap with soggy results? I love how silicone liners promise non-stick magic but deliver a slip n slide for oil and a side of disappointment. Parchment paper's the real hero here, cheap and actually does what it says.

Oh man, the soggy fry situation hits close to home. I tried those once and ended up with a greasy puddle that somehow made everything taste like burnt rubber. Parchment paper forever, it's cheaper and doesn't pretend to be fancy when it clearly isn't.
