Just realized I've air fried over 200 frozen chicken nuggets for my kid this month alone

I know they're easy, but seeing that number made me want to find some actual recipes, so what's your go-to air fryer meal that isn't just reheating frozen stuff?

Okay but is 200 nuggets really that wild? That's like six or seven a day, which honestly seems fine for a kid's snack or quick lunch. The air fryer is great for actual cooking though. Toss some chopped broccoli and chicken chunks in a little oil and seasoning, cook it hot and fast. Comes out way better than the oven, almost like takeout but it's just simple ingredients.

You're right about the air fryer making real food easy. The nugget math is fine, but it's the habit that worries me. Kids get used to that processed texture and flavor, and then fresh chicken just seems boring. Using the air fryer for simple whole foods, like you said, teaches them how good real ingredients can taste. It's a small shift that pays off.

Try mixing real chicken strips in with the nuggets sometimes. They cook the same way and the texture difference isn't as big a shock.
