My air fryer turned into a smoke machine trying to make frozen fries
I grabbed a bag of Alexia crinkle cuts and followed the box time of 15 minutes at 400 degrees. My kitchen in Austin looked like a foggy morning after 8 minutes, and I spent the next 45 minutes airing out the place and cleaning the basket. Has anyone else had a specific frozen brand just absolutely smoke out on them?

Honestly that "foggy morning" setting would probably be a huge hit. People would buy it just for the drama. My old toaster oven had a "pizza" button that was basically just "set everything on fire". Some of these kitchen gadgets feel like they were tested in a lab, not a real kitchen with real frozen food gunk building up.
