Unpopular opinion: bacon in the air fryer is overrated
My roommate kept raving about air fryer bacon, so I tried it last Tuesday for breakfast. It came out greasy and uneven, nothing like the crisp strips I get from a cast iron pan. Has anyone else found that the hype doesn't match the results?

Your roommate owes you an apology" is a bit harsh. I actually love air fryer bacon. Got mine perfectly crispy last week, no splatter mess on the stove.

Tbh I think your roommate owes you an apology for wasting perfectly good bacon like that. Air fryer bacon is just sad bacon trying hard to be cool but failing every time. Cast iron is the only way to go and anyone who says otherwise has clearly never had properly crispy bacon in their life.
