Update: My air fryer salmon fear was totally unfounded
I avoided cooking salmon in the air fryer for months thinking it would turn to rubber. Tried it with a simple lemon pepper rub last week and it was flaky and moist. How long do you usually cook your salmon for in the air fryer?

Yeah that crispy skin turning into a chip is the best part. I was worried about the same thing for way too long.

My friend Dave was the same way, scared it would get all dried out. He finally did a couple fillets skin-side down at 400 degrees last Sunday. Came out with that perfect crispy skin and still super moist inside, he timed it for about 9 minutes. Now he won't shut up about it, makes it like twice a week. Totally changed his mind on cooking fish in there.

Same, I always thought fish in the oven would turn into rubber. Then I did salmon fillets skin-side down at 425 for like 10 minutes. The skin got super crispy, almost like a chip, but the meat was still tender. I just drizzle a little oil and add salt before it goes in. Does the trick every time. Now I barely use the stove for fish.
