Brining for ten minutes seems like extra work for what? I've made salmon in the air fryer without it and it turned out fine. Just pat it dry, add a little oil, and cook it right. The skin gets crispy and the inside stays moist. People act like it's a magic trick, but it's just another step. Maybe if you're overcooking it, brining helps, but timing is key.
