I swore a $60 borescope was a waste for a home shop, then it found a compressor blade nick on a PT6
Three months ago I was dead set against buying one of those cheap USB borescopes for $60 because I figured anything under a grand was junk, but after borrowing a buddy's and pulling a nicked compressor blade on a PT6 that would've cost the owner a fortune in a hot section inspection if we'd flown it, I bought my own that night so what cheap tool changed your mind like that?
