Honestly, I used to think those quick turnarounds were no big deal. Reading about a valve shearing like that really shifted my view. It makes you wonder what else gets missed when the clock is ticking. What's the usual fix for something like that, just a full part replacement?

Totally get that shift in thinking! I had the same moment when a rushed inspection missed a hairline crack on a bracket. Yeah, a sheared valve usually means a full swap, since the damage can mess with the whole assembly.

I've seen plenty of sheared valves get fixed without a full assembly swap.
