Overheard a pilot call a torque wrench a 'clicky thing'

Was doing a walkaround on a Cessna 172 last Tuesday. Pilot in the next bay asked his buddy to hand him the 'clicky thing for the bolts'. Took me a second. He meant a torque wrench. Made me think about the jargon gap between the flight line and the hangar. Ever hear any other funny names for tools from the cockpit crew?

Heard a captain call a fuel sampler a "little juice cup". Makes you wonder what they call the actual flight controls, right?

Ever wonder if those nicknames help or hurt? I used to think it was just silly talk, but @thomas275, your post made me see it could be a real safety thing. If a "little juice cup" is the fuel tester, what's the yoke, a "steering wheel"? That kind of casual talk seems risky when you need everyone on the same page.

My buddy heard a captain call the fuel truck the "sky juice wagon" once.
