Showerthought: the trim wheel that fought me for 3 days was just a dry bearing
Spent 3 days chasing a trim wheel stiffness in a 172, pulled the whole cable run, checked tension twice, and it was a $6 bearing that was dry from the factory. My lead kept saying "it's always the simple thing" and I ignored him. Anyone else waste a whole week on something a grease gun would've fixed?
