Old timer at a supply house told me to stop using screw terminals on resistors, took me 2 years to realize he was right

I kept getting false alarms on a Vista panel in a Denver condo complex and finally swapped them out for soldered connections last week - cleared up every issue. Anyone else find that screw terminals cause more headaches than they save?

@leo612 I see people getting worked up but is this really going to matter a week from now? Seems like a lot of noise over something pretty minor.
