Pro tip: A homeowner in Tempe showed me why you should always check the existing wiring before you quote.
He pulled out a rat's nest of old, unlabeled phone wire behind the panel and just said 'good luck with that.' Anyone else run into a mess that changed their pricing on the spot?

Good luck with that" is why my estimates always say "subject to panel inspection.

So does "subject to panel inspection" actually work for you... or does it just make the client ask what the heck that even means?
