That Tuesday I almost gave up on hardwired sensors forever

Last Tuesday in Orlando I ran a whole house rewire and the old cat5 was stapled so bad behind every stud I had to fish new wire for 6 hours straight. My helper kept saying "just use wireless, nobody will care" but the homeowner paid for hardwire and I wasn't gonna cheap out. By 5pm my hands were raw and I had 3 zones left with no path, so I ended up cutting a hole in the drywall behind the kitchen cabinets to reach the panel. It worked in the end but it made me question why we still fight this stuff when wireless panels are solid now. Has anyone else had a job that made them rethink their whole install approach?

staple so bad behind every stud" sounds like my last attic crawl, except it was 2015 and I still have the scars lol.
