Crane job in Tulsa turned into a 14 hour day after the bucket truck died

Honestly, that Tuesday was brutal. We had this big oak removal lined up for a backyard in Tulsa, and the crane was already on site when the bucket truck wouldn't start. Took us 3 hours to find someone to bring a spare, and then the homeowner came out asking if we could save more limbs than planned. We ended up hand rigging the whole top half, which added 5 hours easy. Ever had a day where one piece of equipment failing just snowballs everything else? How do you guys handle backup plans when the truck goes down mid job?
