My throw line got stuck in a red oak yesterday...
Was setting up for a removal in a backyard in Portland and my throw bag wrapped around a branch about 50 feet up. Tugged a bit too hard and the line jammed in a tight crotch, had to climb up and free it with a pole pruner. Anyone else had this happen with new paracord that still has that stiff coating on it?

Honestly, you probably just need to work the line in a little more first.

Feel for you man, I've been there. Spent three whole sessions with my gear just sitting there looking pretty while I tried to figure out why nothing was cooperating. Sometimes you just gotta walk away for a day and come back fresh, that's helped me more than anything.

Those three sessions thing rings a bell. Did you ever get stuck on something specific like a stubborn bleeder or a snapped bolt, or was it more of a general "nothing fits" kind of deal? I had a brake line fight me for two hours once before realizing I was trying to thread it into the wrong master cylinder port. Just curious if yours was that kind of dumb mistake or something actually broken.
