Tried a handsaw instead of my chainsaw for a limbing job in a tight spot behind a fence

Last month I had this backyard job near Portland where the tree was right up against a fence and I couldn't fit my Stihl in there without scraping the paint off. I grabbed an old corona handsaw from my truck just to see if it would work, and man it was way faster to set up and I didn't have to worry about cutting the fence. No mixing gas, no pulling a cord, just cut and move. Has anyone else switched to a manual saw for those awkward corner spots where a chainsaw feels like overkill?

Buddy of mine tried this and ended up pinching his hand between the fence and the saw.

Yeah that's exactly what I do, handsaw is perfect for those tight spots.
