Found a 200 year old horseshoe in my grandma's garden in Ohio and it made me rethink everything I toss in the trash
Spent Sunday digging up her old flower bed in Dayton and pulled out a rusted horseshoe about 8 inches down, which a local museum later dated to the 1820s based on the nail pattern. Standing there holding something a real person hammered two centuries ago made me realize how much of my own stuff will just vanish, and I have not stopped wondering what tiny objects from my life someone might dig up in 2225. Has anyone else found something old in a random spot like a backyard or a parking lot?
