Just read that the oldest known wooden structure is almost 500,000 years old and was found in Zambia
I stumbled on that fact in an old National Geographic article from last year and it blew my mind that people were building things with wood way before we ever thought possible, has anyone else come across findings that completely rewrite the timeline like that?

That wood thing reminds me of those 800,000 year old footprints they found in England.

Think those were actually in Happisburgh and closer to 900,000 years old.
