That pottery expert's warning saved my dig in June
A guy from the local museum told me to stop scrubbing the terracotta shards we pulled near the old well, said the glaze would flake off. I didn't listen and lost half the detail on a 3rd century bowl fragment. Has anyone else had a conservator's offhand tip beat the standard field manual?
