Heads up, I just paid $500 for a 'premium' networking event in Scottsdale that was basically a room full of people trying to sell me life insurance.

I'm all for meeting people, but be careful with events that promise 'exclusive' connections but don't vet the attendees or have a real plan for meaningful interaction.
