Just got two referrals from a single coffee meetup in Chandler

I met a guy at a coffee shop in Chandler last week who runs a small marketing firm and by the end of the hour he handed me two client leads. I just went in expecting to chat about local business trends and ended up with actual work. Has anyone else had surprise referrals come from a casual hangout like that?

That guy you met at Throne Coffee (I'm guessing, since it's the only decent shop in Chandler with good networking vibes) - did he give you any hint about why he trusted you that fast with his client list? I'm curious because in my experience, most business owners are super protective of their referrals unless they've known you for months. Like, was he just in a pinch and needed someone reliable quick, or did you say something specific that clicked with him?
