Just realized I was wasting my whole Thursday at those big chamber mixer events

Used to hit up the Phoenix Chamber mixers every month from 5-7, handing out cards to people who clearly didn't care. Then in March I tried a small Scottsdale coffee shop meetup with 12 people and got three actual client leads in one hour. Has anyone else ditched the big rooms for smaller groups?

That "quality over quantity" line hits home. Within two months she had a contract with a local author who needed help with his taxes and another lead from someone's cousin who ran a nonprofit. She told me it was the best decision she ever made, just walking away from those big rooms entirely.
