That $200 Scottsdale networking event was a complete ripoff

Paid $200 for a 'premium' mix and mingle in Scottsdale last month and it was just 40 people awkwardly passing around the same business cards. Has anyone found a legit networking event in Phoenix that's actually worth the money?

Tbh I think people are making this way bigger than it actually is. Like yeah Scottsdale has its moments but every city has bougie spots where people spend too much on avocado toast. It's not like everyone out here is driving a leased BMW and pretending they're on vacation. I've been to way worse places for that vibe honestly. Ngl sometimes I feel like people just like to pile on Arizona for no real reason.
