Thought a fridge compressor swap would take 2 hours, took 2 days

Customer's fridge was warm, compressor shot, and I figured it was a straight forward swap. Pulled the old one, put the new one in, charged it up, and the thing still wouldn't kick over. Turns out the capacitor was fine but the relay had a hairline crack I didn't catch until the next morning. Then the drier clogged, so I had to flush the whole line. By the time I finished, it was 6pm on day two for a job I quoted at $350 for a half day. Did I undercharge or is this just how refrigeration work always goes?
