Water bill dropped from $140 to $62 after a plumber in Tulsa found one leaky flapper
I kept hearing the toilet in the hall bath run for a few seconds at random times, but it never overflowed so I ignored it. A plumber in Tulsa finally checked it out and said the flapper had been leaking a slow trickle for months, which added up to about 3,000 gallons a month. He swapped in a $12 flapper and my next bill came in at $62 instead of the usual $140. Has anyone else had a small fix like that make a bigger difference than expected?
