Found an Article Claiming 80% of People Lie on Dating Apps - Is That Real or Clickbait?

I was scrolling through some random blog last night and saw this stat that says 80% of people lie about their age, height, or job on dating apps. That number seems crazy high to me but then I thought about my buddy who always adds 2 inches to his height on profiles. On the other hand, maybe that stat is just from one small study that doesn't mean much. Does anyone here have a better source or know if that figure is actually backed up?

Wait, does it really matter if someone shaves off a few years or adds an inch? I feel like most of those "lies" are pretty harmless and you can spot them once you actually meet the person anyway.
