My car battery died at the exact wrong moment and the tow truck guy laughed at me
Last Tuesday in Columbus, I was already 20 minutes late to a client meeting that I really couldn't miss. I get in the car, turn the key, and just get that sad little click sound. Dead battery. I called roadside assistance and the guy who showed up looked at my face and said "rough morning huh?" before he even opened the hood. Turned out the battery was 6 years old and I ignored all the slow cranking signs for like two months. Paid $180 for a new one on the spot. Has anyone else had a breakdown happen at the worst possible moment and how do you even prep for that stuff?
