Opened my third repair shop this morning, never thought I'd get here
Three years ago I was fixing phones on my kitchen table in Austin, Texas. This morning I unlocked the door to my third location, a small place on South Congress. I remember my first month I only did 12 repairs and almost quit twice. Last week alone we hit 85 jobs across all three shops. The weird part is I still get nervous when someone brings in a water damaged phone. A customer today asked me how I got started and I just pointed at the folding table in the back I still use for testing. Has anyone else here grown a side hustle into something bigger than you expected?
