Question about handling vague questions here
Someone in this community told me last month my questions were too broad, like 'how do I get better at guitar.' They said to be specific, like 'what's a good fingerpicking exercise for a beginner.' I changed my approach and started adding more details, like my skill level or what I already tried. Now my posts get way more helpful answers. What's a piece of feedback that changed how you ask things online?

Someone told me to stop asking "what laptop should I buy" and instead list my budget, what I need it for, and what I hated about my old one. Game changer. Now I get answers that actually fit my situation instead of random guesses.

That "game changer" advice works for way more than just laptop shopping, doesn't it?

Ever read that advice about asking questions so someone can copy-paste your answer? @kim727 is right, specifics cut out all the noise.
