Spent $250 on a fancy keyboard and now my wrists hurt worse than before

I got that ergonomic split keyboard everyone raves about last month thinking it would fix my typing pain. Turns out learning to type again from scratch is a nightmare and I'm just as sore. Has anyone actually gotten used to one of these things or did I just throw my money away?

Honestly I used to be in your camp, I was about to return mine after a week because my wrist was killing me. But I stuck it out for another 10 days and something just clicked, now I barely notice it's there. It's weird how your body just needs to adapt to the different feel.

My buddy Mike bought one of those and his wrists actually got worse for like 3 weeks. He almost returned it but then something clicked and now he won't shut up about it. Your mileage may vary but the first month seems to be rough for a lot of people.
