The moment I realized my squat form was wrecking my knees

I was in the middle of a set at my gym in Austin, about 185 pounds on the bar, when a retired powerlifter named Dave walked over and asked if my knees hurt. I brushed him off at first, but that night I couldn't bend my right leg without a sharp pop. Turns out I'd been letting my knees cave inward for over a year, and that one comment from a stranger totally changed how I lift. Has anyone else had a random person point out a form flaw you never noticed?

Buddy of mine fixed his deadlift after a stranger told him he was rounding his back.

Funny how the smallest feedback from a stranger can fix a problem you didn't even know you had. Most people just stay in their own bubble and never get that outside eye. This is why I try to watch other lifters at the gym, not to judge but just to learn.
