TIL I stopped asking for advice on big choices after 4 years of getting nowhere
I used to poll 8 or 9 people before any big decision, and since February I just ask one person who's already done the thing, so what's the dumbest group-decision you ever let happen?
Took that same idea way too far back in 2019 when my wife and I were picking a paint color and we somehow ended up with 6 people voting on "greige." Sounds dumb but honestly the worst one was letting a group pick my fantasy football keepers one year. Everyone had a different take and I went with the loudest guy who had never won the league. Finished last place, obviously. Now I just text my buddy who actually wins every year and copy whatever he does. Funny how one person who knows their stuff beats nine people who are just guessing.
