Totally see that in normal chats too, where starting vague lets people find common ground first. Feels like most real understanding happens in the back and forth, not the first question.

That just seems to waste everyone's time though. Clear questions get you clear answers faster.

Hold up, @hugo_sullivan25! You make it sound like every question should be perfect right away. In real talks, people need to bounce ideas around to get to the heart of things. Calling that a waste ignores how conversation actually works.
