DAE rethink their whole thing after a stranger's offhand comment?
I was in line at a coffee shop in Portland last week and heard this guy tell his friend he quit his job to pour concrete because he got tired of answering emails at 10 PM. He said his back hurts but he sleeps through the night now, and for some reason that stuck with me for days. I've been at my desk job for 3 years and I catch myself checking Slack on weekends without even thinking about it. Now I keep wondering if I'd actually be happier doing something with my hands, or if I'm just romanticizing his situation. Has anyone here made a jump like that and regretted it, or was it the best call you ever made?
